Make sure that you have the latest plugin version.
To find this configuration option, go to Preferences -> Tools -> Tabnine and make sure the checkbox named "Enable auto-importing packages when selecting Tabnine suggestions" is checked/unchecked.
Once the settings are saved, restart your IDE for the changes to take effect.
